Fact #1
I like drawing close to realism. It's the only way I've tried drawing. I've never tried any other style of drawing - cartoon, anime, japanese animation ... whatever. Only my own kinda style

If I'm looking for a tutorial for something(e.g. wings), I look at several tutorials and I don't follow a single one of them 100%. I either look a bit from the first tutorial, then a bit from the second, a bit from the third etc. or follow a bit from all and add something from my, from my own kinda styl
Not that I don't read them ... I read them all, but when I'm drawing, I don't follow them completetly.
Fact #3
Watercolors hate me ... and I hate them back >.<
I've tried drawing with them many times, but either I screw up the colors, mix the wrong ones or the paper is crappy and tears !! Plus, all the watercolors I've bought ... I just don't like the way they look on the paper - the colors look very bright, slightly noticable. And I like the colors to be more intense, more saturated. And the brushes hate me too >.<

When looking at a painting/drawing, I'm actually looking at the way it's drawn, not the concept. I mean ... if there are two drawings on the same theme and the one is drawn very beautiful, but the concept is cliche and the other's concept is very original, but drawn in childish style, I'll like the one with the cliche concept better
Well ... actually it depends ... but that's hot things are most of the time. No ... when I think about it, it depends ... it just depends

I really enjoy sketching 'n doodling ... I actually like some of my sketches better than the "polished" work >.< Sketching stuff is fun !! Yup ... and my lines are very, VERY sketchy ... no matter what >.< If I try to clean them, it'll only get worse, so most of the time I leave them the way they are -_-`

I cannot color ... I just CAN'T !! At least traditional. Or maybe I'm afraid using some colors, because I know I won't be able to erase them. While in Photoshop I can color and if I don't like it, I just delete the layer or change the hue/saturation ... u gotta love Photoshop xD

If I can't draw something the way I want it to be drawn, I either leave it the way I think it's best(but still not the way it's supposed to be) or just give up. I'm not very .... enthusiastic ... about my art. I don't care if I can't draw beautiful or the way I wanna draw ... I just don't. Although I really want to ... I just don't have an inspiration, something or someone to draw for =/ And that sucks, because that way I will NEVER improve ... grrr >.<
Fact #8
If I draw something I really like, think it's almost perfect, something that I'm very excited about the result and then show it to someone and he/she starts critiqueing it or says that he/she doesn't like a certain part of it, I get very upset, in stead of take the critiques and improve my art >.< I hate myself for that !!
Fact #9
Most of the times, I get the ideas about what to draw from something I saw and impressed me. But even more often, I start drawing THAT and as time passes, something pops in my head, start drawing it and then another thing pops, start drawing that thing and finally, the result is NOTHING like the thing I started drawing >.<

Last one ? Hmmm ... my favourite thing to draw(and almost the only thing I've drawn) is humans. Or some fantasy creatures that look like humans - elfs, fairies etc. I cannot draw landspaces(or maybe I've not tried hard enough). I've drawn still lifes only in school. Well, there was this once I drew a rose at home. It was for my mom's birthday

I almost never draw from nature. Only when I have to draw it for school. I like drawing from memory, from my imagination. And even if I TRY do draw something from nature, it turns out completely different from the real thing o.O At least when I draw at home ... if I draw at school, my teacher can critique me and draw the thing I can not
